Project Summary:
The name Thalassas, which means "of the sea" in Greek, is a company founded by Kelsey and Chris, two marine biologists with a desire to learn about our oceans and use this knowledge to inspire others to protect the marine world. Active in coastal cleanup missions, Thalassas, whose apparel encapsulates the beauty and fragility of the sea and its creatures, donates a share of sales to preservation and cleanup efforts. Kelsey and Chris asked me to come up with an Octopus design to be used on T-shirts and Hoodies.
Process:
Kelsey and Chris articulated their idea very well with specific recommendations, so it did not take long to come up with sketches and settle on a final draft.
